Traverning - the sum of Travelling and Learning

Today is the 16th “Busy as a Bee” Day of March 2017.
I just finalized my “killer resume” after receiving inspiring feedback from Eddie during my mock interview. I was suggested to add something to the INTEREST part of what so called a killer resume, a one-sided paper which displays all my qualities that would probably make myself get shortlisted, dated for a real interview and eventually get employed as an auditor. #lol I did add ‘TRAVELLING’ to my personal interest in which it really is.
Mentioned about travelling, my brain already started picturing about my next trip. My travelling experiences were not bad at all. It was great and fun. I have been to many provinces in my home country and I have also been to other countries as well.
JAPAN, FRANCE, MALAYSIA, THAILAND, LAOS and VIETNAM.
Japan is the latest country I have visited through an exchange program “JENESYS 2016”. It was a premium package of “TRAVELLING, VISITING and LEARNING” which I’ve got to visit many different places and learn a whole bunch of new things.
SO, where have I been?
First Stop:   TOKYO
I still remember the freshly clean smell of Haneda Airport. It was mid-night but the airport was still active. We were taken to a hotel nearby “Narita Airport”. I keep mentioning about “airport” because it’s where the “START” and “EXIT” button of the adventure located.
·         The DRIVE-ACROSS
The JENESYS bus drove across TOKYO DISNEYLAND (oh-mai-gawd!). I could only see the Mickey Mouse gate from distance (from the bus window, of course). I was glad since Mickey and I were under the same sky, the same time-zone and just a few miles away. It was a cloudy day like it was preparing to rain anytime. There it was many high rise buildings, crossing sky bridges, tunnels, Tokyo Big Sight, Tokyo Sky Tree, the view that no one’s going to get tired of eyeing.
·         The VISIT
The bus took us to the ASEAN-JAPAN center located at Tower Hall Funabori where the very first lecture was delivered by the Secretary General and other respected guest speakers regarding economic integration, trade and investment. The farewell party was also held in this place.
National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, MIRAIKAN. I’ve noticed the Japanese visited there with group of friends and family. It was impressive to see the young Japanese enjoying the robot show and technological-everything. Very interesting!
Second Stop: OSAKA
·         The RIDE-ACROSS
The Tokaido Shinkansen Bullet Train introduced us the stunning view of Mount Fuji. Everyone got their camera ready and attempted to capture pictures regardless of the lightning speed of the Shinkansen.
·         The VISIT
-          DAIKIN Solution Plaza: a showroom, home of various kind of air-conditioners and related appliances.
-          The Knowledge Capital Active Lab: I personally named it the “Museum of Creativity”. This is where the output of human creativity combined with intelligence and effort are publicly displayed.
-          Sakai City Traditional Craft Museum: where I’ve leant that the Japanese used almost hundred kind of knife to deal with different meat and veggies. There is a shop selling tea, candle, snack and many more. My first encounter with Real Matcha Red Bean Mochi took place there.
-          Sakai Solar Power Plant and Sakaiko Power Station, Kansai Electric Power Co: It was a life time opportunity to be there. Everything got me “wow”. Who has expected to see the power plant this close? Never. *captured the moment by eyes due to photography restriction*
-          Shimadzu Corporation
Third Stop:  TAKASHIMA
Takashima welcomed me and the fellow delegates with farm stay experience like staying in Japanese style inn, taking public bath, tasting SUKIYAKI and side dishes and night-walk as well as the early morning walk around the hills and rice field. I miss HARU, the house I’ve stayed for two memorable nights.
Fourth Stop: KYOTO
“KIYOMIZU” the temple is beautiful as its name is pronounced. It was one of the popular tourist sites in the old cities. There are small shops selling food, drinks, products and everything in Japanese style.

“I wouldn’t mind experience it all over again”
OVER and OVER AGAIN <3
